Yes, it’s my turn to provide the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl, and so I do only have myself to blame!
To explain….
This card took a very long time to come together, it started life with completely different design papers (hence the colouring on the image) but, once it was all put together and just before I stuck down the main image I realised that it looked horrific and so, I was back to square one, starting all over again!!!
I think the main problem was that sometimes, it is just all about the stamped image….and I loves this little one, so very much that she needed to stand out from the rest of the piece!
So I left her exactly as she was, and had a rethink on the papers….subtle and tonal being the order of the day!
Trust me when I say, this looks much better than the first attempt…..I don’t know what I was thinking on that one…
Anyone else have those types of days????
So, my year is running away with me a little, and we are almost at my baby girl’s birthday, this is her card and I can’t quite believe she’s almost two?
So of course……we had to have the BIG number on the card!
I feel like I’m babbling today so, I shall leave you by telling you that my Sweeties have done a FABULOUS job, please drop by and leave them some love….
Oh, and we have a much loved and missed Sweetie back amongst us too….

Hey there, Miz Gayle!! I chuckled when I read your post...because I would have never suspected this card wasn't absolutely meant to have this gorgeous color scheme!
